The Great Solstice Market
New Amsterdam Market (South St. between Beekman St. & Peck Slip, Manhattan)
Free admission

This Sunday, we celebrate the last market of our amazing 2012 season, and we’d like to thank supporters like you for making the past year so memorable. As we grow to become a permanent member of the Lower Manhattan community and a destination for New Yorkers and visitors alike, we have you to thank for embracing our vendors, spreading the word, and keeping the market vibrant all throughout the year.

The Great Solstice Market will feature over 40 vendors from the region, many of them featuring special holiday items and gift packs, including hot chocolate and seasonal ice cream from The Bent Spoon; whole smoked Mangalitsa hams from Brooklyn Cured; stollen from Hot Bread Kitchen; tamales and DIY tortilla-making kits from Lonestar Taco; sweet and savory pies from Pie Corps and Shandaken Bake; traditional Indian sweets from Silk Road; panettone from Sullivan Street Bakery; and much more. In addition, the Wild Food Gatherers Guild from Vermont will be bringing a range of wild mushrooms and gift packs, as well as evergreens and conifer cooking ingredients with recipes from a number of sources, including Noma of Copenhagen.
