In the wake of seeing the Rolling Stones appear on American TV in 1964, three best friends from the suburbs of New Jersey decide to form a rock band in writer-producer-director David Chase’s 2012 feature film, Not Fade Away. A TV legend and Emmy Award winner, Chase created the HBO mob drama The Sopranos and worked on such shows as The Rockford Files and Northern Exposure but this is his first feature film. He’ll appear, along with producer Mark Johnson and actors John Magaro and Bella Heathcote, for a Q&A session following the film.
