Jazz at Lincoln Center gives recognition to its roots on its 25th anniversary with a soulful show of acoustic blues by guitarist Alvin Youngblood Hart. Music historian Hart, who won a 2004 Grammy for his disc Beautiful Dreamer: The Songs of Stephen Foster, is joined by guitarist Corey Harris and harmonica player Phil Wiggins. Fans of Hart’s “country blues” include Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan and his own mentor, Taj Mahal, who says of Hart, “The boy has got thunder in his hands.”
