The Slums of Neverland
Theater for the New City (155 1st Ave., Manhattan)
Thursday-Saturday at 8pm, Sunday at 3pm

Taken from first person accounts at Anti Violence and Suicide rallies across America THE SLUMS OF NEVERLAND is the tale of five New York teenagers as they grapple with the death of their best friend. The show takes us on an exploration of the obstacles faced by urban and rural youth today. The play features characters that deal with male on male molestation, friendship, addiction, teen parenting and love. The story is a tale of those that attempt to look at their own lives as something more than public housing and despair. THE SLUMS OF NEVERLAND is a tale of hope.
