Saturday, June 25th: Michael Jackson Memorial Sing-Along

Michael Jackson Memorial Sing-Along
Union Hall (702 Union St., Brooklyn)

On June 25th, 2009 God’s gift to mankind, music, dance and Sega Genesis video games was taken away from us. On Saturday June 25th, 2011 on the two year anniversary of his passing we’re commemorating this man’s life and celebrating his genius with…The Michael Jackson Memorial Sing-Along.

All of the best Michael Jackson music videos have been lovingly hand subtitled and will be projected on the big screen with the lyrics for everyone to sing-along to. No microphones and no requests, just a room full of people dancing and belting out MJ hits. We’ve got videos that span the breadth of MJ from ABC to This Is It and everything in between. He may be gone, but his music and videos live on and we’re not gone mourn, we’re gonna dance and sing our asses off like MJ would have wanted!

We’ve got the Thrill The World Dancers coming out to perform and teach everyone the Thriller dance. Dress up for the MJ Costume Contest and MJ Dance Off for a chance at prizes including free drinks and tickets to upcoming Union Hall shows and Sing-Alongs. Cool off with some of our themed drinks like the Dirty Diana, Rockin’ Robin, Moonwalker or Shamon. And stick around after the show because we’ll have a DJ spinning 80’s jams and MJ inspired pop so the party Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough.

C’mon you P.Y.T.’s, don your single sparkly glove and start practicing your moonwalk because I Wanna Rock With You…All Night!
