Drinks, dancing and . . . mindful spending?
It’s time to stop being freaked out by finances and start using money as a tool to improve your life. Through a discussion of different ways to budget, sharing purchase psychology insights, exploring money hacks and lots of free-form writing, you will uncover what you really want your money to do for you and how to make that happen. This workshop is appropriate for freelancers and self-employed folks as well as nine-to-fivers and students. Oh, and there will be bubbly and dancing, of course!
I’m not a financial adviser or a coach, just a girl who’s managed to live well on little money for a very long time, using what I do have to make my life more awesome. Currently, I run the blog Nifty NYC, helping New Yorkers “experience the city on a shoestring” and enjoy learning, giving and partying in NYC on a budget. As a group, we’ll work together to empower one another to spend, save and earn like we mean it. I can’t wait to have you join us!
