Wednesday, April 2nd: HiFi Reading Series with Teddy Wayne

    Date: 04/02/2014

    Time: 8:00 pm

Location: HiFi (169 Avenue A, Manhattan)

    Price: Free

On the first Wednesday of every month, The HiFi Reading series will take place in the newly renovated back room of the The HiFi Bar in the East Village. With its long history, and artistic, musical, and literary cred, this will be the place to see the best new writers of tomorrow, hanging out with the best writers of today. We think great, accomplished writers have excellent taste, and we can’t wait to see whom they think we should be watching out for.

Each month, a different guest curator will choose up-coming writers who don’t have a book out, yet.

For our second installment, author Teddy Wayne (The New Yorker, THE LOVE SONG OF JONNY VALENTINE) will serve as guest curator! He’ll be presenting up-and-coming writers Janet Manley, Molly Langmuir and Jacob Rubin.

This series is organized by Lena Valencia and Ryan Britt in partnership with HiFi.

Copies of Teddy’s books will be available for purchase at the event courtesy of powerHouse Arena.
