Join us for the premiere of WLP’s new documentary film on advancing human rights in the 21st century. In the film, leading experts and activists from across the globe examine how the communications revolution and international emphasis on “hard security” have impacted human rights in the past fifteen years. The film calls for a holistic understanding of universal human rights, examines the links between women’s human rights and political, social, economic and environmental rights, and stresses the importance of focusing on human rights in national and international policy discourse.
