This event takes place at our Brooklyn location. We are thrilled to present the incomparable Peaches, who will be in conversation with Elissa Schappell about her new book, What Else is in the Teaches of Peaches. This event is free and open to the public, but reserved seats are only available with pre-purchase of the book. Once reserved seats are sold out, standing room is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Peaches is a musician, singer, performance artist, producer, filmmaker, actor, and writer, who has released four albums, collaborated with countless musicians, created the one-woman show Peaches Christ Superstar, and sung the lead role of L’Orfeo in a production of Monteverdi’s seventeenth-century Italian opera - as well as creating the mythical autobiographical electrorock stage-show-turned-film called Peaches Does Herself. Peaches has just completed her new album RUB, to be released in September.
