Join WNYC’s Urban Affairs reporter Cindy Rodriguez as she hosts a community forum about mental health, poverty and criminal justice in your city and on your block. Four decades after New York closed its mental asylums, it has yet to build a new system that provides adequate care. Alongside a panel of local leaders and experts in health, government, policy and grassroots advocacy, share and explore experiences around issues that touch so many lives today. The evening conversation will feature a panel conversation, on-site resource and information tables, as well as remarks by First Lady of New York City, Chirlane McCray.
