When Stephen Dubner (of Freakonomics fame) and James Altucher (of James Altucher fame) recently launched their new podcast, Question of the Day, it immediately shot to No. 1 on the iTunes chart. Now they’re bringing their infinite curiosity and wry observations to a live audience. The concept is simple: they take turns asking each other a question. And each question leads to a conversation that can run from the ridiculous to the sublime (or occasionally both). For instance: “What are the secrets of being likable?” “What is the best possible future discovery or invention?“ “What social norms will be considered immoral in 100 years?” In the blink of an eye, their conversation will range from fact-based reality to unapologetic dogma.
