The Museum of Interesting Things takes over a Soho loft for a special Suffragette themed party for the Museum. 16mm movie fest & party! Free snacks, music & beautiful visuals! We have one of the largest collections on the history of the suffragettes, rights and voting around! Original Rare 16mm short films from the 1930’s, 1940’s, 1950’s and more! of Jazz, Vaudeville, Circus footage and 16mm films on our theme. Performances and interesting vendors The artwork of Penelope will be shown too. And a special Foraging in NYC talk by Violet & Wildman Steve Brill with a suffragette side to it! And Venuspain will have her amazing creations! Ladies! Come in Suffragette colors, wear something with Green or White or Violet in it. Dress Victorian or Edwardian Don a big hat, a hat pin, jewelry in one of the colors, or a sash.
