Date: 04/17/2017 - 04/23/2017

Time: All Day

The St. Jordi Festival returns this April to New York on a much larger scale. According to tradition, every April 23rd Catalans exchange books and roses with their loved ones. Now bookstores across New York—from Upper Manhattan to the Lower East Side— will join the celebration, giving out roses to every customer who buys a book that day. But that’s not all. The Farragut Fund for Catalan Culture in the U.S. and the Catalan Institute of America, two non-profit organizations with the shared goal of establishing cultural bridges between Catalonia and America, have curated a full week of events.
