Celebrate the completion of a major restoration to one of New York City’s oldest homes with all-day festivities at the Alice Austen House museum and waterfront park on Staten Island. Thanks largely to public voting, the Alice Austen House received a major grant from Partners in Preservation, a partnership of American Express and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, to make much-needed repairs to the woodwork and give the house a fresh coat of paint. Join us to see the results of what you helped accomplish! Enjoy food and performances on the lawn and take a tour of the museum! Tours on the hour, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. This program is part of the NYC Landmarks50 Alliance, the multi-year celebration of the 50th anniversary of New York City's Landmarks Law.
