Join us on select Fridays for the city’s most cerebral happy hour at NYPL’s iconic 42nd Street location! In honor of National Poetry Month, the next Library After Hours will sound its barbaric yawp over the roofs of the world with a celebration of ecstatic poetry, from Rumi to Walt Whitman to spoken word. This month’s event will include: a one-night-only display of the Library’s collection of rare Whitman books, manuscripts, and images; short films on poets and poetry from the Library's collections; crafts, activities, games, and puzzles; and food and beverage available for purchase.
