    Join NYRB Classics and Scandinavia House in celebrating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Tove Jansson, Finnish writer and beloved creator of the Moomin cartoon series, the day before the publication of The Woman Who Borrowed Memories: Selected Stories of Tove Jansson. Novelists Philip Teir and Kathryn Davis will discuss Jansson’s life and work and her influence on their own fiction. Actor Tuomas Hiltunen will read from Jansson’s work and journalist Anu Partanen and will moderate the evening. This is a free event with a reception to follow.
