Arts Brookfield presents a four-city tour of Australian artist Amanda Parer’s popular installation Intrude launching in New York on April 17, 2016 at Brookfield Place (230 Vessey Street). Intrude consists of five monumental rabbit forms each sewn of white nylon, inflated and internally lit. Arts Brookfield will also premiere two additional giant rabbits, one approximately 39 feet high and the other 39 feet long commissioned for the tour’s New York stop. The New York launch of the installation marks the one-year anniversary of the reopening of Brookfield Place New York and celebrates more than 25 years of Arts Brookfield’s animation of non-traditional spaces with world-class arts and cultural experiences that are free and accessible to the public.
