Work is work, no matter if it is generating movement, teasing thoughts into sentences, fundraising or finding space to make dances. Whatever the medium, the focus needed to create new work is physically and intellectually consuming. Enter the creative realm of Twyla Tharp, the 201415 Distinguished Guest Artist, as she talks about her current projects and answers questions from the audience. Building
on her inaugural lecture about the creative habit, Tharp will explore her ideas about work and its relation to art and life. For further information regarding this event, please contact Lindsay Stuffle by sending email to lstuffle@barnard.edu or by calling 2128542037.
