Date: 05/29/2016

Time: 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Location: Jimmy's No. 43 (43 E. 7th St., Manhattan)

Come out for the final Brunch Pop Up at Jimmy's No. 43 on Sunday 5/29 from 12-3 for Biscuits & Recipes for Soultions, a pop up collaboration with Nicole Crescimanno. A menu inspired by imagining how adaptation and mitigation in response to global warming will change flavors and foodways. Nicole is deeply concerned about climate change, which inspired her to obtain an M.A. in Climate and Society from Columbia University. She is currently working for Professor James Hansen as the program coordinator of the Earth Institute’s program on Climate Science, Awareness and Solutions. She also co-leads the NYC chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby, a group that advocates for carbon fee and dividend legislation. She is committed to helping others find their voice and empowering them to contribute towards climate solutions. Nicole is currently collaborating on creative climate solutions and events. Nicole and I will be collaborating on a story of coming together, a story of collaboration, a story about the individual and collective "recipes" for a present and future that accept climate change as a pressing human issue and cook up solutions that begin now and will be passed along for generations to come.
