It's Mardi Gras and Little Cinema is going to New Orleans! Welcome to a city full of life, art, music and history. It was also a close neighbor to the fictional bayou community 'The Bathtub', which held their pride in isolation from society, and in conflict with the elements. Next Tuesday Little Cinema will be screening the beautiful feature film, Beasts of the Southern Wild, by Benh Zeitlin. The film is a keyhole look into the Bayou, as told through the eyes of a 5yr old girl named Hushpuppy, who is full of spirit and fantasy. The evening will conclude with our usual blend of performances featuring the Stumblebum Brass Band and our very own House of Yes acrobats, who will flip the room into an all out Mardi Gras celebration. Entry to to the film includes entry to the afterparty or can be purchased separately.
