Acclaimed Animation, Movie Messes Monday June 20th – Thursday June 30th Syndicated gets animated in late June with unorthodox, quirky and international selections like Coraline 6/20, a 2009 stop-motion animated 3D dark fantasy horror; Charlie Kaufman’s Oscar-nominated Anomalisa 6/25; Paprika 6/26, the 2006 Japanese animated science fiction film; the Israeli film Waltz with Bashir 6/27; the 2007 Oscar-nominated Persepolis 6/28, which is based on graphic novel; and the 2003 French comedy Triplets of Belleville 6/30. They will also screen The Iron Giant 6/21; Fantastic Mr. Fox 6/23 and South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut 6/24. In keeping with the animated theme, Syndicated’s monthly Scream Night, a campy horror flick celebration, will take place June 29th with Heavy Metal, a 1981 adult animated anthology science fiction fantasy film.
