Join us for a live musical performance by award-winning writer, vocalist and sound artist LaTasha N. Nevada Diggs. Her latest book, TwERK, “unveils an identity shaped by popular media and history, code switching and cultural inclusivity.” Diggs will be in conversation with author Jacqueline Jones LaMon; sharing her definition of “American-ness,” along with addressing how writers can lay the groundwork for activism in their artwork.
