The Art of Mindful Spending: A Party and Workshop
Since the beginning, Nifty NYC been about having fun on the cheap, but I’ve also envisioned that it would be much more than that. You are amazing and capable of just about anything you set your mind to. But let’s face it—it’s challenging to execute a creative vision you have or to change the world for the better when you’re struggling to get by financially. Even starting to think about your relationship to money can be stressful, and the overwhelm that accompanies trying to get your documents in order (hello, tax season!) is enough to make you cry and throw a pile of papers at the wall.
It really doesn’t have to be that way, though. That’s why I created The Art of Mindful Spending, an empowering 2-hour workshop that will help you find out what you want from your money and how to make that happen. We’ll share different ways to organize your finances and plenty of tools, tips and hacks to help you make the most of what you’ve got. There will also be free drinks and dancing, because that’s how I roll. I look forward to having you join us!

Here’s what some past participants had to say:
“The workshop helped me think about my finances in a totally new way. I am more aware of why I spend money the way I do, which has helped me change my spending habits in a positive way.”—Sarah W., Queens
“I’ve been working on my budget and I’m getting really excited by my retirement and savings! The clarity of the [budget] breakdown is really helping me understand where my money is going!!! Now to change my retirement allotment. And after Sept., [my employer] will match! :):)$$:):)”—Allison P., Brooklyn
