Wednesday, May 29th: Bookrageous BEA Bash

Bookrageous BEA Bash: Nathan Larson, Sarah MacLean, Rosie Schaap & Teddy Wayne
Housing Works’ Bookstore Café (126 Crosby St., Manhattan)

Join Bookrageous, “a podcast about books and why they’re awesome” for a party featuring some of our favorite authors — hijinks guaranteed to ensue. First 250 drinks courtesy of Book Expo America and Bookriot; after that, many, many free drinks while they last courtesy of sponsor Kobo, who is sponsoring an extra hour of party time; that’s right, we’re staying open until 10PM to be Bookrageous that much longer.

Thanks to this year’s raffle, three lucky attendees will get a personalized list of reading recommendations, courtesy of the Bookrageous hosts and Library Journal staff! You could also win one of several audiobooks, hand-picked by Library Journal. Raffle tickets will be $5 each, or 5 for $20, and all proceeds will benefit Housing Works.

We’ve been recommending their books for months, and now they’ll be joining us in person! This year’s featured authors include: Nathan Larson, Sarah MacLean, Rosie Schaap, and Teddy Wayne. We’ll also be joined by Desk Set co-founder and librarian Sarah Murphy, who will teach us the secrets of readers advisory.

All hail our wonderful sponsors: Kobo, BookExpo America, Book Riot, and the Library Journal Book Review.
