Coney Island Strongman Spectacular
12th Street between Bowery and Boardwalk, Brooklyn

The strongmen are back for one day only at the 2013 Olde Time Coney Island Strongman Spectacular!

Now in its third year, the Olde Time Coney Island Strongman Spectacular has become a much anticipated event in the ‘World’s Playground’, Coney Island. In the wake of hurricane Sandy, which left much of Coney Island destroyed, the 2013 Strongman Spectacular promises to be bigger, stronger and better than ever. This is one of the first major free events in Coney Island since the hurricane  ripped through the iconic neighborhood destroying homes and businesses alike. What better way to show the rebirth of this mecca of fun than by bringing in some of the world’s best strongmen who will be showcasing a variety of unusual acts and super-human feats the likes of which your eyes have never seen.

The Olde Time Coney Island Strongman Spectacular is the first large free-public event taking place in Coney Island this season. Not since Coney Island’s golden years have giants such as these performed at the legendary amusement district. The event is part of Coney Island’s 2013 summer campaign #ConeyComeback. All fans attending the event, and visiting throughout the summer, are encouraged to tag their photos, posts and tweets with #ConeyComeback, and join in on the celebration of the many exciting happenings and unique occurrences that make Coney Island “America’s Playground”.

If you don’t think it can be bent, twisted, smashed, broken, torn, shredded, or demolished by a human being…you’re in for a surprise, because it’s all real, it’s all alive, and it’s only at the Coney Island Strongman Spectacular!
