Saturday, April 13th: Habana Outpost Earth Day Re-opening Weekend

Earth Day Re-opening Weekend
Habana Outpost (757 Fulton St., Brooklyn)

The 6th Annual Earth Day Expo at Habana Outpost is an opportunity for our neighbors to access free information about sustainable living. The Earth Day Expo also marks the day when Habana Outpost will re-open the restaurant for 2013. The day will be filled with fun, learning, and food.

Some highlights of the event will be:

Kid’s Corner – Bring the kids down to design their own flowerpot and plant a sunflower to take home. Brought to you by Habana Works
Wildflower Seed Giveaway – Native flowers help support our local pollinators so pick up your free seed pack from Habana Works and help us spread seeds the Brooklyn way.
Human Powered Bike Blender – Blend up a smoothie on Habana Outpost’s famous bike blender, an awesome example of alternative energy.
