Tuesday, April 9th will mark the 100th anniversary of the first game played at historic Ebbets Field, storied home of the Brooklyn Dodgers. To commemorate this occasion, the Brooklyn Cyclones – the first professional sports franchise in the borough since the Dodgers headed west – will put a limited number of box seats on sale for their Ebbets Field Centennial Celebration on August 29th, for just $1.50. The price is the same as the cost of a box seat to see Brooklyn take on the Philadelphia Phillies on April 9, 1913, a game the Phillies won by the score of 1-0.
These tickets will be available only through BrooklynCyclones.com starting at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 9th, while supplies last. (Only 600 box seats will be made available)
