On the first Sunday of each month, BBG invites visitors to invigorate themselves in the Garden with a host of daytime activities for all ages.

Bird Walk with Naturalist Brad Klein

Join naturalist Brad Klein on these walks and identify birds and other wildlife around BBG.

Join licensed psychotherapist and veteran BBG guide Lynne Spevack, LCSW, for this hour-long outdoor narrated walk designed to relieve the winter doldrums.

Discovery Workshop: Winter Trees
Drop In 1–3 p.m. | Visitor Center Atrium

Families explore fragrant evergreen trees, investigate amazing pinecones, make a pine needle pillow to take home, and discover winter tree silhouettes around the garden.

Conservatory Highlights Tour
2:30–3:15 p.m. | Steinhardt Conservatory

Join a Garden Guide on a 45-minute family-friendly tour to see some of BBG’s most exquisite conservatory plants. Explore different habitats and get a dose of green to warm up your winter. No registration necessary. Meet at the entrance to the Steinhardt Conservatory.
