Light Cycles is a lighting installation commissioned by Arts Brookfield to visually animate the intricate structure of the Winter Garden’s windows and exterior Plaza. Conceived and designed by internationally acclaimed lighting artist and veteran theater designer Anne Militello, this installation consists of strands of LED-embedded discs suspended from the Winter Garden’s barrel-vaulted glass roof above the palm trees. Like charms on a bracelet, the jeweled discs entrance through a softly evolving manipulation of color and texture.
