Five Ambassadors of the New York City Culinary Experience

Josh Russ Tupper and Niki Russ Federman (4th generation owners of Russ & Daughters), Dorie Greenspan (cookbook author and owner of Beurre & Sel), Danny Bowien (chef and owner of Mission Chinese), and Amanda Hesser (food author and creator of Food 52) – will converse about food, not just as sustenance but as nourishment of history and community. Each panelist is a purveyor of stories and recipes, and each values the idea that to feed people is to share a tradition (with customers, users, readers) and to allow it to be taken home. The discussion will be moderated by the New York Times’ Sam Sifton.
