In the digital environment, how can photography be transformed so as to create a more expansive, complex and nuanced medium–rather than just trying to simulate film-based photography? What are some of the ways in which we can think about the differences between analog and digital, multimedia and interactivity, linear and non-linear narratives? What are the variety of new forms of documentary story-telling that are emerging? There will also be a book signing for After Photography, Fred Ritchin’s recent book.
