Dear Family,

In response to the events over the past week concerning the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, we are shifting the focus of our Heart & Mind 2012 Festival to become a prayer for the recuperation of our city. We need to come together to pray for the benefit of the many, to be grateful that we have an opportunity to rebuild consciously.

In this spirit of togetherness, admission will now be a non-perishable food donation for people in need in addition to a monetary donation to support the production of the festival and benefit the communities of the elders attending.

From around the world we will gather to pray for our cities, the Earth and to wish a happy 2013 for humanity. We’re inviting you to join a distinguished group of Rabbis, Priests, Nuns, Imams, American Indians, Buddhist Monks, Yogis and people of knowledge to receive sacred wisdom and to pray for harmony within the eternal dance of heart and mind.
