Dead Accounts, the new comedy from Pulitzer Prize finalist Theresa Rebeck (Seminar, creator of NBC’s Smash), opens for a limited engagement at Broadway’s Music Box Theatre, starring Katie Holmes and Norbert Leo Butz and directed by three-time Tony Award-winner Jack O’Brien. Butz plays prodigal son Jack, who unexpectedly drops in on his family in Cincinnati after several years in New York. His family soon begins to wonder if he’s coming home or running away. And where did he get all his money? This play honestly and hilariously portrays Midwestern values and family dynamics as a lesson in how home remains important no matter where you live.
