Known for her striking self-portraits and volatile marriage with fellow artist Diego Rivera, Frida has fascinated for years, inspiring legions of artists, writers and musicians. This play, written by Brigitte Viellieu-Davis, has toured libraries across New York City and now returns to Urban Stages, where it premiered in 2009. After the show, mingle with other young art supporters over margaritas and a Mexican hors d’oeuvres buffet, with enchiladas, tamales and more.
