For the past twenty years, Ralph Lee Hopkins has traveled to the world’s wild places with Lindblad Expeditions and National Geographic.
Using examples from his work on expeditions over the past decade, this presentation will focus on being prepared before you go on your next adventure – from choosing the right camera and protecting your gear, to tips for making images with impact and digital workflow for the road.

In travel photography anything goes, but you must be prepared. It all starts with knowing your camera and understanding how your camera sees light, and also learning the rules of composition so you know how to break them. Ralph’s presentation will help you navigate the digital world with ease, while remaining true to the craft.

Come with an open mind, enjoy the images, and prepare yourself to see the world in a new way on your next photographic expedition – whether to the ends of the earth or in your own back yard.
