Thursday, September 6th: Trash is Art – A Master Workshop with Wayne White

Trash is Art – A Master Workshop with Wayne White
3rd Ward (195 Morgan Ave., Brooklyn)
7:30-9:30pm
Free, bring 3 found objects

Join us on September 6th in partnership with Wooster Collective for a night of interactive fun, irreverant art-making, and the beauty of trash, with one of America’s most important artists, Wayne White. You’ll have a chance to make art with him, and all you need is 3 found objects.

Wayne’s art brings new life to every day objects, and his magic is contagious.

What you’ll need to bring:

3 found objects (think cardboard, bottles, boxes, plastics, wood…)

Bright ideas for an original creation

(You’ll look at junk in a new way, we promise.)

Raised in the mountains of Tennessee, Wayne White started his career as a cartoonist in New York City, with huge success as one of the creators behind PeeWee’s Playhouse. He went on to design some of the “most arresting and iconic images in pop culture.”
