This is our first unconference being hosted in NYC and we’re really looking forward to seeing you there!

The theme of the unconference is SOCIAL MEDIA. We have 3 topics set aside:

1. What I learned: Essentials of Social Media, strategies for appropriate audiences – Plus in depth audience Q&A.

2. What I learned: Managing other companies Social Media channels and how I’ve applied it to my startup.

3. What I learned: Building your network online and implementing it offline.

Brad Dressler, Owner/ CEO at Pro Social Media Coaching and Marketing, has always been passionate about collaboration, shared knowledge, small businesses and start ups. Pro Social Media Coaching and Marketing is an award winning, full-service marketing agency with an expertise in social media strategy and development. Brad’s business evaluates a company’s demographic and marketing needs, then provides hands on training, develops strategic goals and produces resources to accomplish those goals. Focus of Discussion: Brief coverage of main social media channels, how Brad (and his clients) have utilized them and general Q&A. Brad will answer questions specific to your company, such as whether you need to be on one of / all of the main US social media channels like Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn.

Focus of Discussion: Gina will be discussing her experience working to develop online media strategies for / with large brands and how she’s taken that experience and utilized it to develop Evol8tion. Gina will answer questions about how one should work with larger brands whether it involves managing / developing media strategies or forming partnerships.

Rik Willard, President & CEO at RULE7MEDIA LLC, is a Digital Consultant and StartUp Professional with over 20 years experience in advanced B2B and B2C communications in Media, Luxury and Energy sectors. Identifying, incubating and facilitating funding for early-stage digital companies. Rik is an acknowledged pioneer in location-based and engagement media including DOOH and large-public screen projects, content production, CMS, mobile and social media.

Focus of Discussion: Rik will be discussing how he built his network through traditional and online media, and took that offline. He will be answering questions about how one can (and why one should) connect the online and offline relationships we develop.

Each section lasts 25 minutes, including Q&A. There is 1 main speaker for each session with 2 slots for adhoc speakers to schedule themselves in.
