Opportunities for Photographers: How to Get Your Work in Front of Curators, Gallerists, Photo Editors & Publishers
The B&H Event Space (420 9th Ave., Manhattan)

The art world can seem insular and “getting noticed” is a constant challenge for artists. In the course of her presentation, photography appraiser Jennifer Stoots will talk about the various ways that photographers can get their artwork in front of curators, gallerists, photo editors and publishers. Having worked in the world of fine art photography for almost 15 years, Ms. Stoots is not only familiar with many of the avenues available to artists, feedback from photographer friends and associates will allow her to illustrate common issues, successful paths and the experiences that many photographers have had in the process of fostering their careers.
