SASS Presents: Badasses of History
Public Assembly (70 N. 6th St., Brooklyn)
7pm
Free
The Society for the Advancement of Social Studies (SASS!) is proud to present a series of lectures designed to both entertain and enlighten. On the first Tuesday of each month we will meet to discuss a different historical topic that you probably knew at one point but don’t remember anymore, plus THEMED DRINK SPECIALS.
My goodness, is August approaching already? Beat the heat at Public Assembly with a cold drink and some hot lectures about the Ancient Badasses who have terrified and tamed humanity throughout the years.
Our speakers will tell you all about the Vikings and their adventures, an ancient Athenian who did shit his way, and what it might be like if Genghis Khan was your dad.
