A “Griot” is the person who guards the history and culture of a people. African “Griots” are traditionally drummers and storytellers. Through the Griots, the oral tradition is passed down throughout the generations by inspirational, educational and motivating performances with stories, music and songs from Africa, the Caribbean and America.
