Chaos Cooking: Rooftop BBQ Edition
My roof is awesome. Come cook on it.
We have four BBQs of varying sizes (a couple really small), but there is no direct access from the apartment, so we’re going to try to keep it strictly outdoors. Bring booze (bottle of wine, six pack of beer, bottle of liquor. Just bring enough to share). Bring $5 to cover cost of charcoal, plates, cups, etc.
We could really use extra grills, tables, tongs, knives, cutting boards, big bowls, blenders, and tupperware or ziplocks to bring any extra food home…basically, anything you can bring, please do. We just moved in and don’t have a lot of stuff.
We will provide: charcoal, plasticware, plates, cups, skewers, salt, pepper, olive oil, flour, white sugar, four grills.
And now for Joe and Margaret’s description of Chaos Cooking:
How it works.
Bring the ingredients necessary for everyone to try a little bit of your dish, extra prep supplies (if you have them) and enough beer/wine/liquor to share.
When you arrive:
1) Check in
3) Pour yourself some wine
4) Start making your dish
5) Drink some more wine
6) Help your new friends
7) Bang on a pot when your dish is finished
8) Don’t forgot….try some dishes, share your dish, and try not to start yourself on fire
9) Wrap up some food to take home
