Come see SHOWBOAT CIRCUS aboard the Waterfront Museum Barge docked at Hudson River Park Pier 25 at the foot of N. Moore St. and the Hudson River in Tribeca, NYC.
Come aboard for family entertainment and classica circus artistry aboard a 98 year-old covered, wooden barge.
Featuring:
Hilary Chaplain – award winning physical comedienne.
Will Shaw – juggler extraordinaire featured on David Letterman and Jon Stewart for his juggling and humor steeped in the traditions of the great comedians of the silent film era.
Sophie Sharps – the captain’s daughter on trapeze
Showboat Captain David Sharps – Chinese Vase Manipulation
All part of the North River Historic Ship Festival June 28 – July 1. The second annual ship festival features free public boat rides aboard the Tug Pegasus and the John J. Harvey Fireboat, and dockside tours of the LILAC Steam Tender and Lehigh Valley No. 79.
