Sunday, June 24th: NYC Pride March

NYC Pride March
Starts at 36th Street & 5th Ave., ends at Christopher & Greenwich St., Manhattan
11am gather, noon start
Free

The first March was held in 1970, and has since become an annual civil rights demonstration. Over the years its purpose has broadened to include recognition of the fight against AIDS and to remember those we have lost to the illness, violence and neglect. Through the years, we’re still here and the March is a celebration of our lives and our community.
