Tuesday, May 22nd: Duct Tape Crafts (Register Now)

Duct Tape Crafts
Brooklyn Brainery (515 Court St., Brooklyn)
8:30-10pm
$20, registration required

As it turns out, duct tape is good for more than sealing off the edges of your window AC unit. In some ways, in fact, it may be the perfect crafting tool – strong but flexible, water resistant, stickier than should be legal, and finally – finally! – it comes in all kinds of bright, craft-friendly colors, too. Useful + cool-looking = let’s make some stuff!

In this 90-minute class, we’ll walk through step-by-step instructions for making and personalizing a duct tape wallet, complete with credit card holders (nothing says ‘money’ like a wallet made of hardware store supplies). Then, we’ll cover the basic techniques you need to construct tons of other projects, including notebooks, glasses cases, bags, and more.
