Saturday, May 5th: Cinco de Mayhem

Cinco de Mayhem
Gowanus, Brooklyn – RSVP for address
Free before 11pm, $10 after

Cinco De Mayo commemorates a Mexican military victory over the French in the Battle of Pueblo, on May 5, 1862. Somehow, 150 years later, it has become an excuse to party. Who are we to complain?

We invite you all to our new loft in Gowanus, to drink enough tequila to wake up tomorrow in Mexico and not remember a thing, and dance all night to Latin-spiced globalbeat ethnotek best with: king of the eclectic loft party sound Barney Iller, ethnomesh master Joro Boro, late-night Rubulad favorite Reaganomics, and DJ KindB of World Class International crew. Live percussion TBC. Fire dancers & hoopers welcome (9k sq ft roof). Festive dress always encouraged, but no costume required. Cheap drinks, good times.
