Saturday, April 21st: ‘The Human Family Tree’ Screening

The Human Family Tree
Greater Astoria Historical Society (35-20 Broadway, 4th Fl., Queens)

On Labor Day weekend 2009, on 30th Avenue in Astoria, the most diverse street in the most diverse city of the most diverse country in world, a team of National Geographic scientists swab the cheeks of some 200 random New Yorkers – hoping to reveal clues about our ancestral footprints and prove we are all cousins in the “family of man.”

This is their story. This is our story.
