Punk Rock Movie Night
Thursday, March 29th
The Space at 9 Bleecker (9 Bleecker St., Manhattan)
7:30-11pm
$25 in advance, 21+

For our next show, it’s time for more than just a bass player, it’s time for a fabulous disaster. That’s right, it’s time for Punk Rock Movie Night. We’ll be taking in Gary Oldman’s Sid Vicious on screen, snagging some punk eats and drinks, and kicking out the jams at the end to pull it all together. And for this one folks, we all know the story. Sid & Nancy are dead. Long live Sid & Nancy.

We’re heading over to the famous venue at 9 Bleecker for this movie night. We’re stoked to be screening here, because of the deep history of hosting decades of punk rockers from pre-Patti Smith to the present. So we can do justice to the venue and the punk rock Romeo and Juliet, we’ll be wrapping up the movie with a short and serious set straight from Shilpa Ray!

During the film, we’ll be taking in some killer punk rock eats and drinks. What is punk rock food? As a send up to Alex Cox’s *other * punk rock southwestern flick, we’ll be serving gourmet Straight to Hell nachos courtesy of the always delicious Red Clog Kitchen and the fantastic food from our friends over at Sif Foods. We’ll also have other punk rock food on hand (read: stuff from the local bodega), and of course a cooler full of PBR. We may even have something special available in 40 oz. servings.
