Saturday, March 10th: ‘Good Lessons From Bad Women’

Good Lessons From Bad Women
Spuyten Duyvil Library (650 W. 235th St., Bronx)
2pm
Free

As Good Lessons from Bad Women begins, it reveals the many sides of Dorothy: stuck between Eleanor Roosevelt as the embodiment of virtue, and the delicious controversies in the lives of five other women: Mae West, Anne Bonney, Eve, Emperor Wu Chau, Elizabeth Freeman, and Mrs. “Machine Gun” Kelly, who became famous (or infamous) for coloring outside the lines. They are unique and often comic portraits of real women that eventually become facets of one woman’s wish to live a spirited life.
