This entertaining visual lecture surveys chronologically food trends in the United States during the 20th century and illustrates how changes in society directly influenced dietary and dining habits as they emerged over the last 100 years. Sherri Liberman, Senior Librarian, Mulberry Street Branch, edited the book and contributors to the book include Margaret Rose Siggillino, Senior Librarian, St. George Branch, who wrote about the 1940’s and 1960’s, and Hilary Schenker, Literacy Assistant for Seward Park Branch and Tompkins Square Centers for Reading and Writing, who wrote about the 1970’s.
