Friday, January 20th: Benefit for Healey Gabison Featuring Los Encantados / Oh No and the Tiger Pit / The Dunnie Bobos / No Fun

Benefit for Healey Gabison
Union Hall (702 Union St., Brooklyn)

This show is to benefit Healey Gabison, whom is battling cancer and needs our help! She was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Stage 3B in 2009 and since then has undergone rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and a stem cell transplant. There is a newly approved FDA treatment called SGN-35 specifically for individuals with Hodgkin’s that are considered to be high-risk, like Healey. She is ready to try it and must begin this six month treatment as soon as possible. Unfortunately, SGN-35 is not covered by her health insurance, and is extremely expensive, costing $180,000.
